For some people, a tattoo is tied to a life, identity, or trauma they have worked hard to leave behind. Limited complimentary or reduced-cost assistance may be available for qualifying applicants.

Tattoos that may qualify

Gang-related tattoos or hate symbols
Racist or extremist imagery
Branding connected to human trafficking or abuse
Visible tattoos creating a barrier after incarceration or major life change

Fresh Start availability is limited, and applications are reviewed individually. Eligibility is not guaranteed. All services remain subject to InkOut’s standard medical screening, consent, and treatment requirements.
